Ukrainian YouTube also has a feminist side, and we’re eager to introduce you to it!

With this in mind, we filmed a report on one of the most exciting Ukrainian girl-led blogs, “Dear Diary” (Lyubyi Shchodennyku), which is featured on the channel of the feminist organization Bilkis.

Bilkis is an independent group of activists who are stubborn and bold in their advocacy for women’s rights. Nearly a year ago, they launched a video essay project exploring society, cinema, and pop culture. In this episode of Look at This!, you’ll meet the blog’s host, Tanya, who shares how the idea for the project came about, what inspires its creators, and why there’s no such thing as too much glitter in great content.
